- One-of-a-Kind Shapes: As agarwood forms naturally, its shape cannot be controlled. Genuine Kyara Agarwood varies in size, length, and form. We group pieces with similar shapes and resin density levels for sale.
- Formation Process: Agarwood is a resin mixture produced by agarwood trees during the healing process after injury. Drilling holes in the trees can cause them to be injured, allowing resin to naturally form around the holes—thus, every piece of Kyara agarwood has a hole. Of course, this hole can be easily cut off, as we originally need to remove oil-free areas. However, we still decide to preserve its authentic appearance. Its fragrance improves with age—older agarwood smells even more fragrant.
- Usage Methods: Electric Incense Heater (Common in China): Heat at 50°C–300°C (typically under 200°C) to enhance floral-fruity notes.Although high-temperature baking yields a rich aroma, it shortens the incense burning duration. The massive volatilization of oil in a short period may result in incomplete volatilization. When the oil reaches the bottom and gets scorched by high temperatures, it will form black stains that are relatively difficult to clean. Furthermore, high temperatures can cause the carbonization of wood fibers, which impairs the aroma. Please replace the material promptly once the aroma has fully volatilized.
