NICOR Lighting 6 inch Super Slope Housing for New Construction Applications (17025SSA)

This NICOR 17025SSA is an Aluminum 6-inch New Construction Super Slopes Housing designed for 6-inch LED Recessed Downlights, LED Retrofits, and Traditional Trims of all sorts. Designed for slope ceiling installation with a 7/12 to 12/12 pitch, the socket pivots to allow the light to be aimed straight down regardless of ceiling pitch. The Airtight and Insulation-Contact rated housing (IC allows for direct contact with insulation) helps keep your home insulated and energy efficient. It’s suitable for residential and commercial applications and features Integral Thermal Guards that protect against overheating (usually due to using an incorrect wattage or bulb). The 17025SSA is also Damp-Location rated when used with Damp-Location rated downlights and trims. The housing adjusts from 0.5 to 1.5-inches to accommodate ceiling drywall thickness and its 5.75-inch height allows it to be used in 2 x 6-inch joist construction.
