The Petzl I'D is a self-braking descender with an anti-panic function designed for rappelling and load lowering in work-at-height, rescue, and rope access applications. The automatic braking mechanism activates when the user releases the handle, providing a hands-free safety stop. The anti-panic function prevents the device from opening if the user grips the handle too tightly - a common panic response. Compatible with 10.5-11 mm semi-static ropes, the I'D is available in two versions: the standard I'D for loads of 50-330 lb (23-150 kg), and the I'D S for loads of 50-220 lb (23-100 kg). Certified to CE EN 12841 type C and ANSI Z359.15. Manufactured in France and backed by Petzl's 3-year manufacturer warranty.
- AUTO-LOCK SYSTEM: Allows users to easily position themselves at a workstation without having to manipulate the handle or tie off the device; rope locks automatically as soon as the handle is released.
