60W Electric soldering iron Temperature adjustable soldering iron Strong manual suction pump Tin wire Soldering iron tip Toolkit 1. There are several reasons why the tip does not stick to the solder. Please try to avoid: (1) When the temperature is too high, the surface of the impregnated tin is easily oxidized when the temperature exceeds 400 C. (2) Tin is not added to the tin surface when used. (3) There are too few fluxes in the welding process. or the reactive flux will cause the surface to oxidize very quickly. the water-soluble flux will erode the iron tip at high temperatures. (4) The sponge used to wipe the iron tip is too high in sulfur, too dry or dirty. (5) Exposure to organic substances such as plastics. lubricating oils or other compounds. (6) The content of impure tin or tin is too low. Two iron tips and maintenance methods should be used: (1) Remove any residual oxide, dirt, or flux from the soldering iron tip prior to applying power. Remove contaminants from the heating element to prevent tip contact with the heating element or sleeve. Keep the tip locked at all times to ensure it is in the correct position. (2) When using, set the temperature at about 200 C to preheat. When it reaches the temperature, it is set to 300 C. When it reaches 300 C, add tin to the tip of the soldering iron. After 5 minutes, the test temperature was set to the desired operating temperature. (3) When soldering, do not use a soldering iron to forcefully open or squeeze the soldered object, and do not use friction soldering. This is not conducive to heat conduction and damaging the iron tip. (4) Do not rub the tip with a rough surface. (5) Do not use chlorine or acid flux. (6) Do not add any compound to the tin surface. (7) When not using for a long time, please lower the temperature to 200 C or lower. Protect the tip with tin. Do not wipe it. Only wipe with a wet sponge and solder again at the tip.
